Why We Built This
At VisualBoston, we design and build digital products for clients across industries. We've worked with everyone from startups to enterprise teams. But TallyQuote came from a different place: a real pain point we kept hearing from tradespeople and service businesses.
The contractors we talked to weren't looking for complex project management software. They wanted one thing: a faster way to get proposals out the door so they could book more work.
We used the same AI-accelerated workflow we use for client projects. Claude for AI, Next.js for the frontend, Neon Postgres for the database, Clerk for auth, and Stripe for payments. The same tools and approach we write about on this blog, applied to a product of our own.
